NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-The motto employee-owners of Eagle Communications live by is "Community Connected."
Following the lead of its founder and longtime leader, Bob Schmidt, Eagle continues to leave a footprint in its service markets with financial donations and community outreach through radio, Post sites, and numerous other avenues.
On Wednesday, Gary Shorman, Chairman of the Board and Chief Development Officer of Eagle and President of the Robert E. and Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation made a $1,000 donation to the Prairie Arts Center.

"The donation was a great surprise," said Holly Carlini, PAC Executive Director. "It will help towards art programming."
Each year, PAC offers a variety of summer classes that focus on projects and mediums that are new concepts to children.

The PAC is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is currently hosting the Nebraskaland Days Competetive Art Show.
