Parents of Hershey Public Schools student-athletes and activities participants are encouraged to attend the annual Athletic & Activities Parent Meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the HPS Activity Center and will provide important information to help families prepare for the 2026-27 school year.
School officials will discuss activities operations and policies, Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) rules, eligibility requirements and expectations, as well as information about the upcoming athletics and activities season. Families will also learn about fall sports meetings, with additional details to be shared by individual head coaches.
While students participating in athletics and NSAA activities are welcome to attend, the meeting is designed primarily for parents. School officials strongly encourage parents to be present so they can better understand expectations and support their students throughout the school year.
Incoming seventh- and eighth-grade families are especially encouraged to attend as students begin participating in middle school athletics and activities.
The meeting will be held:
- Date: Tuesday, Aug. 4
- Time: 6 p.m.
- Location: HPS Activity Center
Hershey Public Schools says strong partnerships between parents, coaches, sponsors and students are key to building successful programs and looks forward to kicking off another year of Panther athletics and activities.
