Lincoln County Board of Commissioners Sept. 8 Meeting Agenda

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, Sept. 8, at 9 a.m. at the courthouse in North Platte. The agenda includes discussion of claims, treasurer’s receipts, and two resolutions: one creating a county sinking fund and another directing the treasurer to issue tax sale certificates for parcels with two years of delinquent taxes.

At 9:05 a.m., Paul Grieger of D.A. Davidson will discuss potential bond scenarios. Commissioners will also consider right-of-way applications from Great Plains Communications and Dawson Public Power District.

The Board of Equalization will meet at 9:15 a.m. to review certificates of correction, tax exemptions, and other matters.

Later in the morning, Region 51 Emergency Management Director Brandon Myers will present a quarterly report, and commissioners will consider agreements related to emergency management, dispatch services, and participation in the Nebraska Regional Interoperability Network.

The board will also issue a proclamation recognizing Patriot Day on Sept. 11 and consider an interlocal agreement with Saline County for a bridge program application.
