The Gothenburg girls basketball team defeated Columbus Scotus Central Catholic 44-36 to win their district championship and qualify for the Nebraska Girls State Basketball Tournament next week. The NSAA hasn't posted the State Bracket yet but the POST has done the math on wild card points and it appears that Gothenburg will play Adams Central on March 1 at Devaney Center in Lincoln. The Official Bracket should be released on Sunday (2-26-23)
