Council members are expected to work through a full consent agenda, including approval of minutes from the January 20 and 22 meetings, several mayoral appointments and reappointments to city boards and commissions, and acceptance of the city’s audit for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025.
Tonight’s consent agenda also includes approval of the North Platte Fire Department’s 2025 annual report, a license agreement with NPICE, Inc., and final approval of the Zeller Second Subdivision following a recommendation from the City Planning Commission.
On the regular agenda, council members will consider entering into a $16,000 professional services agreement with Miller & Associates to complete an update to the city’s Historic Buildings Survey. The council will also be asked to approve claims.
The agenda allows for a closed session if needed to discuss personnel matters, real estate transactions, or potential litigation. Time is also set aside for informational items from the mayor, council, city administrator, and city attorney, as well as public agenda requests.
The meeting will open with an invocation from Gary Stetler of Victory Church of God and can be viewed live on the city’s YouTube channel.
