SIDNEY, Neb. — On September 2, 2025, at approximately 6:16 PM, the Sidney Police Department was dispatched to a disturbance call on Country Club Drive following a report of shots fired. The caller stated that a man was seen shooting at a woman who had run out of a nearby residence.
Upon arrival, officers located a woman and two juveniles outside the home. They were safely secured while a male suspect was located inside the residence and taken into custody. A BB gun, determined to be the weapon used, was recovered from the scene.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the Cheyenne County Jail without incident. No physical injuries were reported. The Sidney Police Department would like to thank the Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office for their assistance with this call.
