David Anthony Schwing, Sr., age 53, of McCook, NE passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in McCook.
David was born January 12, 1968 in San Diego, CA to parents David A. and Faye J. (Greer) Schwing. David attended school in California, graduating from Mt. Miguel High School in Spring Valley, CA.
David moved from Texas to McCook in 2010. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren. He had two sons, David, Jr. and Jonathan.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to celebrate his life include his sons, David (Kayley) Schwing, Jr. of Indianola, NE and Jonathan Schwing of McCook, NE; stepfather, Bill Burgett of San Diego, CA; brothers, Eric Schwing of McCook, NE and Michael (Christy) Burgett of Redding, CA; and his four grandchildren with one on the way.
A celebration of life reception will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at 39494 Road 723 Indianola, NE 69034.
