Missing Frontier County boy found early Sunday morning

Cambridge, Ne - Early Sunday morning, (July 2, 2023) at approximately 2:05 am, the Frontier County Sheriff’s office received a reported sighting of Noah Koch, who had been missing since early Friday morning north of Cambridge near Medicine Creek Reservoir. Law Enforcement from multiple areas were dispatched to the location near the intersection of Road 728 and Road 402. Furnas County Deputy Huntley arrived on scene first and was able to make contact with Noah. Deputy Huntley transported Noah to his home where he was reunited with his family safe and unharmed.

Koch's family along with emergency management had organized a search party on Saturday morning after they had found water bottles believed to have been with Noah.

The Frontier County Sheriff's office released this statement via their Facebook pager earlier today. "This has been a long search which ended with the best possible outcome. A huge thanks to all those involved who dedicated their time, effort, equipment and supplies including: Alma Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Oxford Fire and Rescue, Arapaho Fire and Rescue, Elwood Fire and Rescue, Beaver City Volunteer Fire Department, Wilsonville-Hendley Volunteer Fire Department, Farnam Volunteer Fire Department, Franklin Volunteer Fire Department, Cambridge Fire and Reacue, Indianola Fire and Rescue, Sides Aerial Application, Nebraska State Patrol, Nebraska Game and Parks, Furnas County Sheriff’s Office, Nance County Sheriff’s Office, The American Red Cross, Emergency Management and the hundreds of other volunteers and supporters!"
