NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-A man has been arrested on allegations that he sexually assaulted two women in North Platte.
Police said on July 11, at 5:33 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 800 Block of South Dewey.
Upon arrival, police said officers made contact with the victim and witnesses.
It was reported to officers that Jose Moreno began causing a disturbance on the property and that the victim had walked away from Moreno. As the victim walked away, Moreno followed and allegedly reached out and grabbed the victim on the buttocks.
During the investigation, police said officers were contacted by a second victim. The second victim said that she was also approached by Moreno earlier and as she walked away, Moreno grabbed her on the buttocks.
Police said Moreno was located nearby and placed under arrest.
Moreno was incarcerated at the Lincoln County Detention Center on suspicion of two counts of 3rd-degree sexual assault.
