
NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-A North Platte man was cited after he allegedly caused a disturbance which included him exposing himself, then was arrested for damaging property.
According to North Platte police, on September 21 at 4:37 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 Block of East Philip Avenue for a disturbance.
Police say upon arrival, Officers met with the victim and witnesses.
Police say officers were advised that 28-year-old Derrick Zalud, had exited his residence and began yelling at the victim and beating on several items around his property.
Witnesses told police Zalud then pulled down his pants to expose his genitals and buttocks and began making lewd comments.
Zalud had departed the scene prior to officers arriving.
Approximately one hour later, police say officers located an intoxicated Zalud in the 2300 Block of East Philip and made contact with him.
Officers were able to establish probable cause and Zalud was issued a citation for disturbing the peace and indecent exposure.
Shortly after Zalud was cited and released, Officers again responded to Zalud causing a disturbance. Officers learned that Zalud walked on to a neighboring property and began damaging plants on the property.
Zalud was again contacted and placed under arrest on suspicion of 2nd-degree trespassing and criminal mischief.
Zalud was incarcerated at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
