Eldon Trojan age 96 of Arbor Care of Ord, NE formerly of Comstock, NE passed away September 7, 2023.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 1:30 pm at the National Hall 46492 Sargent-Ord Road Comstock, NE. Burial will follow in the Bohemian Brethren Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Comstock American Legion Post #220 or Comstock Volunteer Fire Department. A visitation will take place one hour before the Funeral Service at the National Hall. Eldon was born on December 26, 1926, in Northeast Custer County to Joseph and Carolina (Kriz) Trojan. Eldon attended school at Shady Hollow Dist. #154 in Northeast Custer County. Eldon farmed and ranched Northeast of Comstock since the early 1940’s, he is well known for his Button Key accordion, which he started playing at the age of 5 years old. Eldon along with brothers Frank and Leonard started the Trojan Brothers Band and played for many weddings and occasions during the 1950’s and 60’s especially at National Hall and Jugman Hall.

Eldon married Marion Tvrdik on September 18, 1971. Marion passed away on January 25, 1998.

Eldon was always there with a helping hand whether it be a ride to the doctor or the grocery store, or if you needed your vehicle towed back to town. Each year he was there for the community clean-up day at the Centennial Garden.

Eldon was preceded in death by his wife Marion, parents Joseph and Carolina, step daughter-in-law Kathy Tvrdik, seven brothers Otto, Joseph, Jr., Emil, Edward, Frank, Charles, and Leonard, three sisters Camilla Pavel, Minnie Krul, and one at infancy.

Eldon is survived by two stepsons Don Tvrdik of Kansas and Lonnie (Mitzi) Tvrdik of Loup City, grandchildren Chris (Barb) Tvrdik, Angela (Michael) Cantrell, Allison (Seth) Regan, Randy Tvrdik, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, two nephews Gary and Richard, and four nieces Glynette, Betty, Darlene, and Connie.
