    Barbara Jean Masur, age 77, of Culbertson, NE, passed away at her home. She was born in McCook on July 6, 1945, to Percy and Dorothy (Wallace) Minary. Barbara attended school in McCook, graduating from McCook High School in 1963.  

    Barbara was married to Boyd Miller in Las Vegas, NV, in 1965, to this union four children were born: Cheryl, Diane, Todd, and Travis. Boyd preceded her in death on June 9, 2009. 

    Barbara enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She worked as an upholsterer for Mel’s Auto Restoration, and worked for over 30 years as a med aide at El Dorado Manor in Trenton. She enjoyed gardening, canning, making jelly, and baking pies. Barbara was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary 269, serving in many of the organization’s offices. She was an avid reader. 

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Dorothy; husbands, Boyd Miller and Melvin Masur; son, Todd Miller; grandson, Shane Miller; brother, Roger Minary; son-in-law, Dale Emhovick. 

    Barbara is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Miller of Kearney, Diane Emhovick of Sutherland; son, Travis (Brenda) Miller of Culbertson; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five stepchildren; step grandchildren; sisters, Maxine (Tom) Lingman of Pierre, SD, Gloria (Paul) Gonzales of Greeley, CO; three brothers: Kenneth (Ann) Minary, Gayle Minary, Douglas Minary, all of Culbertson. 

    Barbara chose cremation. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 7:30 PM at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook, with Father Gary Brethour officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Trenton.  The graveside inurnment will be in the Culbertson Cemetery at 1:00 PM Thursday.
