Ilene May Vian, 73, formerly of Oshkosh, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 in Denver, Colorado.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home in Oshkosh. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Oshkosh City Cemetery. Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremations in Oshkosh is serving the Vian family.
Memorials in Ilene’s name can be made to the family for later designation.
Ilene May was born December 6, 1948 in Grant, Nebraska to Bill and Clara (Kraft) Howe.
Ilene will be remembered for her love of quilting, dining out, shopping, her dog, and her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, David Kackmeister; siblings, Katie Barber of Fort Morgan, Colorado, Betty Jones or Bryant, Wisconsin, Susan Starr of Sidney, Nebraska, and Phillip Kraft of California; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Del Vian, and siblings, Carolina Sand, George Kraft, Bertha Campbell, Ed Kraft, Martha Venditte, and Lizzie Jeffres.
