At Tuesday's meeting of the North Platte Public Schools Board of Education, members unanimously approved a two-year contract extension for Superintendent Todd Rhodes.

Rhodes was named superintendent in late 2021 and joined the district in July 2022 after serving in a similar position in Gothenburg.

<a href="https://meeting.sparqdata.com/Public/Agenda/124?meeting=571642">The 2023-2025 contract extension</a> offers a salary of $238,000, which Stuart Simpson, finance director, noted was an increase comparable to those received by NPPSD teachers.
