Betty Jean Yeargain (Halstead), age 76, of Arnold, Nebraska passed away on March 12, 2023 after a prolonged illness. Betty was born to George Halstead and Ethelyen "Lucille" (Vian) Halstead on May 12, 1946, in Arnold, Nebraska.
Betty had many occupations throughout her life from Western Union Operator, Homemaker, Instructional Aide, Rancher, and Community Leader involved with numerous causes. Betty was an avid church attendee; she actively spread God's love wherever she went. She will be missed and remembered fondly by all the people she positively impacted.
She is survived by three children: David Haase, Corrie Yeargain, and Elizabeth (Rayme) Manuele; three grandchildren: Kaylee, Zachary, and Jesse Haase; a sister Joyce (Bob) Howe and their three children and families.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucille Halstead.

Funeral Services for Betty will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Arnold Baptist Church in Arnold, Nebraska with Pastor Frank Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Arnold Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 5 on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte, Nebraska.
