Edward “Ed” Powers, age 75, passed away at his home on December 12, 2023.  He was born on March 18, in McCook to Lester and Dorothy (Godwin) Powers.  Ed attended school in Trenton, graduating in 1966.  Ed enlisted in the U.S. Navy, on July 15, 1956.  He was trained as a corpsman/medic.  He was Honorably Discharged on February 10, 1971.

Ed is survived by his wife, Beverly; siblings: Charlie (Pat) Powers, Carol Barazza, Janet Powers, and Joyce (Doug) Turink; nephews, Ryan Powers, Adam Powers, Dania Barazza, Jason Barazza, Alan Aramayo, Nathan Turink; niece Jordan (Andy) Willer.
