On the morning of June 30, 2020, Jill Haugland White, 57, passed away peacefully at her home in Sutherland. Jill was born on November 29, 1962 at Sutherland, NE and is a graduate of Sutherland High School. She attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and the University of Alabama Huntsville where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English. For the last 30 years Jill has been a technical writer for Hexagon Corporation, based out of Huntsville, Alabama. She was the holder of many talents including music, quilting, and knitting. She shared those gifts generously with all.
Jill is the daughter of Jim and the late Jan Haugland of Sutherland. Jill is survived by her husband Bruce White, her children David Williamsen and daughter Daphney Williamsen both of Huntsville and her father Jim (Donna) Haugland of Sutherland; her sister, Jo (Rich) Lee of Sutherland and her stepchildren Garnet, Anastasia and Howarth White all of Phoenix, AZ; along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many treasured friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother Jan Haughland, her-in-laws, James and Patricia White, and an unborn son Kevin Williamsen.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 6, 2020, at Grace Lutheran Church in Sutherland. Followed with burial at Riverview Cemetery south of Sutherland.
Visitation will be from noon – 6:00 P.M., Sunday, July 5, 2020, with family receiving friends from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home, who is in charge of arrangements. The funeral service will be livestreamed on Adams and Swanson Face Book page.
