     Sargent First Class Alexander Feeney, age 33, passed away on January 5, 2023 at Fort Hood, Texas.
     Alexander Michael Feeney was born on April 18, 1989 and raised in Maxwell, Nebraska by his father, Tom, and other close family, along with his five siblings.
     Alex graduated from Maxwell High School in 2008 and joined the United States Army in May of 2009, where he served Honorable until his last day.
     In November of 2009, Alex married his high school sweetheart, Roxanna Ashlee, with whom he shared four beautiful children.  Together they enjoyed traveling and adventures, spending many hours hiking in the Northwest woods.
     Alex enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing with his Grandpa Feeney.  He loved sports and often played on teams with men from his unit.  
     Alex was the life of every party and made it his mission in life to bring laughter to all he could.  
     He was a dedicated soldier and leader.  Alex was a loving husband, father, son and friend.
     He was loved by all who knew him, he touched many lives, and will be greatly missed, more than words can say.
     Alex is survived by his wife, Roxanna; sons, Aiden, Benson, and Carson; daughter, Dyllan; father, Tom Feeney; brothers, Aaron, Drew and Bryce; sister, Brittany; aunts, Judy and Terre; uncles, Matt and Tim; cousins, Eamonn and Kyer Feeney, Jaylon Sturdivant all of Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his sister, Amber Robirds-Feeney; and his grandparents, John & Joyce Feeney.
     Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte, Nebraska.  Burial will follow at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, Nebraska with full military honors.  
     Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte is in charge of arrangements.
