The city of North Platte sanitation department will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 23 and 24, 2023 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Extra crews will be working to complete all routes by end of the workday on Wednesday. Please have your carts in place for collection by 6:30 a.m. on Monday, November 20 to avoid being missed.
All garbage needs to be in the city issued containers and the lids must be closed. No bags or trash on the ground.
• The transfer station will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24. It will reopen on Saturday with regular hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• No Hazardous waste collection on Thursday, November 23.
