
Rebecca Ann "Becky" Freeman unexpectedly passed away at the age of 71 due to an automobile accident on July 10, 2023.
Becky was born at Spalding, NE, to Robert and Anetta Lee on August 28,
1951, and shared her birthday with her dad, who she adored. She was the
oldest of seven siblings and grew up on a farm near Spalding. After
graduating high school, Becky lived in the Imperial community until
moving to North Platte with her children in 1989.
She was an incredible woman and was the proud owner of Becky's Cleaning in North Platte for nearly 30 years. She never met a stranger and was an eternal optimist who would move heaven and earth to help her family.
Becky was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and a devoted
catholic who trusted in God with all her heart. She made the world a
brighter place and gave all she had. She will be greatly missed and
forever loved.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Pat Lee.
Survivors include her children, Stacy (Jed) Baxter of Aurora, CO, Jeremy
(Angie) Sanford of Hershey and David Terry of Ogallala; grandchildren,
Jessi Bates, Alyssa Odean, Joey Sheets, Bailee Sanford and Tayleigh
Terry; seven great-grandchildren; her sisters, Sue (Cappy) Pinkerton of Blair, Deb (Dan) Widger of Wahoo and Karen (Ron) McMullen of Parker, CO; brothers, Ed (Betty) Lee of Imperial, James (Sharon) Lee of Paulsbo, WA, and John (Tammy) Lee of Cozad; as well as many other family members.
Services will be on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at St. Patrick's Catholic
Church. Rosary service will begin at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of
Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. with Celebrant Father Jonathan Sorensen.
Burial will be 3 p.m. at St. Michael's Cemetery South in Spalding. The
casket will be closed.
The memorial book may be signed prior to services at Odean Colonial
Chapel at C & Sycamore, which is in charge of arrangements, or at the
