Ketra Vlasin, age 26, of McCook, passed away at the Community Hospital in McCook on June 8, 2022 due to a motor vehicle accident . She was born in North Platte, NE on October 5, 1995, to Mark and Natalie (Elliott) Vlasin. He attended school in Hitchcock County graduating from Trenton High School in 2012. She then attended beauty school North Platte for 2 years. Ketra began working for Renalle’s Classic Hair Design air Designin McCook. She was currently employed at Subway.
Ketra was active and enjoyed in art, choir, cheerleading, music and wrestling in high school. She enjoyed time spent at the lake at the family cabin with her kids. She attended youth group at the Church of God in Trenton.
Preceding her in death were grandparents: Robert Elliott; George (Betty) Vlasin; Kathleen (Gordon) Cameron.
She is survived by her 3 children: Maizie, Zaiylor, and Zander all at home; mother: Natalie (Rob) Maaske of Culbertson, father: Mark (Kimberley) Vlasin of McCook, sisters: Constance Vlasin of Culbertson; Cali Vlasin of McCook; grandparents: Janice Elliott of Culbertson: Keith (Barbara) Maaske of Arapahoe, NE.
The family chose cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Friends may leave online condolences at herrmannfh.com. Memorials may be left to future expense and education of her 3 children. Hermann-Jones Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
