This years NPHS Bulldog softball team might have missed out on a chance to play in Hastings for another shot at a state championship, but that doesnt mean good softball wasnt played.

Sydney Barner, holder of most of the offensive records at NPHS, started her high school career with homeruns in her 1st and 2nd at bats on varsity as a freshman. Then her final at bat as a senior was a homerun to bookend her career at the plate with homeruns.
