Kansas man arrested for cocaine, meth, multiple charges near Hyannis

  At about 5:37 p.m. on October 23, while working traffic North of Hyannis on Hwy 61 near mile marker 162, Grant County Deputy Brown stopped a Kansas registered vehicle traveling south bound doing 75 mph in a 60 mph zone.

A subsequent cursory investigation revealed a 38- year old Wichita, Kansas man found to be in possession of suspected large quantities of cocaine, methamphetamines, marijuana, cash and paraphernalia.

With the assistance of Nebraska State Patrol and Box Butte County Sheriff's Office, the subject was arrested for multiple drug charges and transported to the Box Butte County Jail without incident.

Investigation continues by the Grant County Sheriff's Office.
