Broncos news: 17 games on the docket, Broncos will play 9 at home

Earlier this week NFL team owners put into place an action they have been looking forward to for years and finally got with the new CBA.

An extra game has been added to the season.

NFL teams will now play 17 contests in the regular season, each team will still receive only one bye week. Teams will alternate playing nine and eight home games every year and the extra game will be played against a nonconference opponent based on standings from the previous season.

Also to note for fans, this year's Super Bowl has been moved back from Feb 6th to Feb 13th (Happy Valentine's day the following day!).

Here is how the Denver Broncos opponents stack up (note the NFL has only put out home and away games, no dates have been released as of this publication)
