Harold "Dean" Pursley, longtime resident of Dundy County, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday evening, February 3, 2021 at the Wauneta Care & Therapy Center in Wauneta, Nebraska at the age of 88. Dean was born on November 4, 1932.
Survivors include his daughters, Rebecca Erickson (Steven) of Omaha, Nebraska and Teresa Swoopes (Stephen) of Omaha, Nebraska; his sons, Chris Pursley (Annie) of Enders, Nebraska and Michael Pursley of Thornton, Colorado; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his sister, Patricia Higgins of Los Angeles, California; and his brother & sister-in-law, Dennis and Donna Gockley of Wauneta, Nebraska.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, February 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time at St. Paul Lutheran Church of rural Wauneta, Nebraska with Pastor Keith Wellman officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Wauneta, Nebraska. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
There will be no visitation. Dean's wishes were for cremation.
