In addition to Socctoberfest, Creighton's contest with Gonzaga is part of the Bluejays' hosting the Jesuit Cup Invitational on Friday and Monday, September 7. The Invitational begins with a neutral site contest between Loyola and Santa Clara on Friday at 2:00 pm in Morrison Stadium. The four teams continue play again on Monday as Gonzaga faces Loyola at 2:30, while Creighton battles Santa Clara at 5:30 pm. In addition to the competition on the pitch, each school will be using the time to walk in the Jesuit tradition by giving back to the local community.
