JoAnn Sehi of Cozad passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at St. Luke's Good Samaritan Society in Kearney at the age of 76. JoAnn was born June 24, 1944 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Don and Ina (Tennison) Joslin. The family moved to California where JoAnn attended Kings River School.
On August 1, 1967, she married Jerome Sehi. The couple moved to Cozad in 1974 where they made their home and raised their children. Family was everything to JoAnn. She did everything she could to make sure her children and grandchildren accomplished their dreams and goals. JoAnn enjoyed sewing, crafts and yard work. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She went over the top decorating with her Christmas Village.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Jodi; brother, Charles Joslin; sister, Louise Scott; daughter-in-law Beverly Rollenhagen and Candise Jones.
Survivors include her son, Ron (Laura) Jones of Clarks, NE; daughter, Jackie (Rocky) Davenport of Johnson Lake; brother, Wendel Joslin of CA; grandsons, Jeremy (Mary) Jones of Grand Island, Michael (J.T.) Jones of Kearney, Andy (Lorena) Jones of Grand Island, Bret (Hannah) Jones of Lincoln, Eric Wright of Cozad, Kyle Wright of Cozad; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Justice, Channing, Pearson and one on the way; special friends, Mark Wright of Cozad, Scott Rollenhagen of Curtis; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorials are suggested to the family in her name for later designation. Rosary will be Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, July 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Father Matt Koperski officiating. Burial will follow at the Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
