North Platte, NE — The Lincoln County Republican Party will hold its October meeting on Monday, October 20, 2025, at their new meeting venue, the Lincoln County Historical Museum at 2403 North Buffalo Bill Avenue in North Platte.
The featured speaker is Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen. He will be speaking on Nebraska’s election integrity efforts and will explain how his office is promoting agriculture through trade missions.
Secretary Evnen has many duties, which include serving as Nebraska’s chief protocol officer for international relations. In that role, the Secretary promotes commerce, educational studies, and cultural exchanges between Nebraska and the world. In addition, the Secretary of State oversees business services, elections, licensing, rules and regulations, records management, international relations, youth services, the keeper of the Great Seal, and various other duties, including serving and chairing state boards.
A light dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m.
