Do you have old tires you’ve been looking to get rid of? Keep North Platte Lincoln County Beautiful, the City of North Platte with support from Nebraska Water, Environment and Energy is hosting a free Tire Collection Event March 19-21, 2026, from 8AM – 4PM or until the threshold of 250 tons is met. 

You can bring tires to the North Platte Transfer Station located at 3320 W North Lake Rd which is the North Platte Transfer Station near Lake Maloney. 

Tires will be accepted from Lincoln County and surrounding counties free of charge. No rims will be taken. Once the 250 ton threshold is met, the event will be closed. Commercial tire businesses are not allowed to drop off at this event.
