The North Platte Area Chamber & Development Corporation will recognize seven local individuals, businesses and housing projects during its 2026 Annual Meeting on Thursday, Oct. 29.
The event will be held at Venue304, 304 E. Fifth Street in North Platte. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the program beginning at 6 p.m. Nebraska State Senator Mike Jacobson will serve as the featured speaker.
Among this year’s honorees is Al Erickson, who will receive the Lifetime Business Achievement Award for his work with multiple businesses and organizations.
Judy Clark, the City & County Planning and Zoning Administrator, will be recognized as Professional of the Year.
Integrated Power Company has been named Business of the Year, while Fessler Tire Company will receive the New Business of the Year award.
Lori Bergman, owner of Double Dips, The Original Ice Creamery, has been selected as Volunteer of the Year. Bergman is also involved as a volunteer with numerous organizations in the community.
Eickhoff Construction will be recognized as Housing Developer of the Year, while Thriving Connections Apartments has been selected as the Housing Project of the Year.
The annual meeting will give Chamber members and community members an opportunity to recognize this year's honorees and hear from Jacobson.
