The City of North Platte reminded residents and Nebraska sales tax permit holder that, effective Saturday, local sales and use tax in the city of North Platte will be 2 percent.
The Nebraska state sales and use tax rate is 5.5 percent resulting in a total sales and use tax rate of 7.5 percent in the City of North Platte.
This change is on the Nebraska Department of Revenue’s website at revenue.nebraska.gov under the Sales and Use Tax link.
