NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Mid-Plains Community College’s STEM Club is bringing science, technology, engineering and math to life with a free, hands-on exhibit at the Lincoln County Fair.

The “STEM Station” will be open to fairgoers of all ages July 24–26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, located in the Open Class Building.
Visitors can take part in a wide range of interactive activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity, including:
- Creating water art on the station’s walls and ceiling
- Watching 3D printing demonstrations
- Building with more than 10,000 LEGO bricks
- Exploring physics through volleyball levitation
- Testing reflexes in a no-touch ping pong challenge
- And much more
The STEM Station is designed to make learning fun while inspiring an interest in science and innovation through play and experimentation.
