MPCC STEM Club to Host Interactive STEM Station at Lincoln County Fair

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Mid-Plains Community College’s STEM Club is bringing science, technology, engineering and math to life with a free, hands-on exhibit at the Lincoln County Fair.

The “STEM Station” will be open to fairgoers of all ages July 24–26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, located in the Open Class Building.

Visitors can take part in a wide range of interactive activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity, including:

  1. Creating water art on the station’s walls and ceiling
  2. Watching 3D printing demonstrations
  3. Building with more than 10,000 LEGO bricks
  4. Exploring physics through volleyball levitation
  5. Testing reflexes in a no-touch ping pong challenge
  6. And much more

The STEM Station is designed to make learning fun while inspiring an interest in science and innovation through play and experimentation.
