Donald O'Neil, longtime resident of rural Wauneta, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Perkins County Community Hospital, Grant, Nebraska. Don was 77 years of age.
Survivors Include: his wife, Marilyn of rural Wauneta, NE; daughters Sandra Reinke (Doug) of Imperial, NE and Kathleen Misfeldt (Marty) of Brighton, CO; sons, Shaun O'Neil (Mindy) of Brighton, CO and Shannon O'Neil (Sandy) of Wauneta; seven grandchildren; brother, Ron O'Neil (Nancy) of Wauneta; sisters, Mary Carman of Imperial and Patti Fanning of Wauneta; and brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Dwana Roschewski of Benkelman,NE
As per Don’s wishes, cremation was chosen with a private family inurnment held Sunday, February 13th, 2002, at the Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta.
A memorial, In Don’s memory, has been suggested to the O’Neil Family for a future designation.
