Valerie Jean Stearns, 72, of North Platte, passed away April 22, 2022 at home.&nbsp; She was born on January 14, 1950 to Virgil and Delcie (Plunkett) Sanders in Ogallala.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 2, 2022 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery with Chaplain Brenda Lee officiating.&nbsp; Adams &amp; Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
