Joanne F. Liebig, longtime resident of the Wauneta, Nebraska area, passed away early Thursday morning, May 20, 2021 at the Wauneta Care & Therapy Center in Wauneta. Joanne was born on March 2, 1927.
Survivors include her son, Paul Liebig (Jan) of Kearney, Nebraska; her daughters, Mary Kay Lauher (Forrest) of Schulenburg, Texas and Rosanne Benzel (Bill) of Waynesville, Missouri; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday afternoon, May 25, 2021 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Mountain time at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta, Nebraska.
Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening, May 25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Time at St. John Catholic Church of Wauneta.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday morning, May 26, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Mountain Time at St. John Catholic Church of Wauneta with Father Christopher as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta.
Memorials have been suggested to St. John Catholic Church of Wauneta or the Wauneta Care & Therapy Center.
