NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-As cases of COVID-19 continue to rise across Nebraska, a North Platte assisted living facility reports that four of their residents passed away from COVID-related deaths.
Officials at Centennial Park Retirement Village say the facility experienced an outbreak that resulted in eight members of their staff and 37 residents testing positive for COVID-19.
In a news release, officials confirmed that four residents passed away with complications from the virus.
Officials say residents who tested positive are currently in quarantine and all staff members are self-quarantining.
Staff members and management at Centennial Park Retirement Village are working closely with local health officials and are adhering to all of their recommendations.
