
Steven Eugene McNulty of North Platte died unexpectedly at Great Plains Health on June 30, 2022, at the age of 56.
Steve, the son of Girard and Faustine 'Frosty' McNulty, was born in
McCook on February 27, 1966. He grew up and attended school in North
Platte then worked for Central Nebraska Packing and Golden Corral.
Steve later moved to California where he continued working for Golden
Corral then for the city of Corning and the Corning Olive Company.
In 2018, Steve returned to Nebraska and lived in various communities
including Lincoln, Grand Island and North Platte. He enjoyed playing
chess and doing wood working.
He was preceded in death by his father, Girard; mother and stepfather,
Frosty and Eugene 'Hack' Hakenkamp; brother, Thomas McNulty; and
brother-in-law, Tim McConnell.
Survivors include his children who reside in California, Shawn McNulty,
Brittany McNulty (Alan Nava) and Amanda (Kevin) Sobel; brother, Jerry
(Erin) McNulty of Puyallup, WA; sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Guggenmos and
Deborah McConnell of North Platte; grandchildren, Maya and Mateo; niece, Jessica (Wes) Kincaid of North Platte and nephew, Nathan (Wendy) Briscoe of Kansas City, MO; and other family.
Cremation was chosen and family will have a private service at a later
