Highway 30 from Maxwell to Brady open to normal traffic

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) says US Highway 30 from Maxwell to Brady is open.

According to NDOT, Highway 30 from Reference Post 191+08 to Reference Post 200+91 is open to normal traffic with ongoing construction.

Paulsen, Inc., of Cozad, Nebraska, has the $6,035,196 contract. Work includes grading, concrete repair, concrete overlay, asphalt milling, asphalt surfacing, and seeding, according to NDOT.

NDOT will continue utilizing flaggers and a pilot car during November 2020, with work resuming in the Spring of 2021.

The anticipated completion is in Summer 2021.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
