NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-One of North Platte's popular restaurants announced Wednesday that they will close temporarily due to a possible COVID-19 exposure.

In a post on their Facebook page management at Merrick's said that after reviewing CDC guidelines they determined it was in the best interest of their guests and employees to close.

At this time, the restaurant is expected to be open again on Tuesday, October 13.
