The North Platte Concert Association will wrap up its 2025–2026 season with a lively and crowd-pleasing finale next month.
CeCe Teneal brings her “Divas of Soul” performance to the Fox Theatre on Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m. The show will serve as the final concert of the season, offering an afternoon filled with familiar hits and high-energy entertainment.
The concert was made possible in part by a $1,000 grant from the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation, helping the association bring the performance to the community.
“Divas of Soul” features music from some of the biggest names in soul and pop, including Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner and Whitney Houston. The show highlights decades of well-known songs, with styles ranging from disco and R&B to Broadway and pop.
Teneal is an award-winning vocalist who has been nominated for four Independent Music Awards. She has earned honors for Best Gospel Song and Best R&B Album in 2011, along with Best Soul/Funk/Fusion Song in 2018. Known for her strong voice and stage presence, she brings an interactive style that often gets audiences on their feet.
