Evelyn L. Searle, 84, of North Platte, passed away July 6, 2022 at home. She was born on August 10, 1937 to Ralph and Wilma (Collins) Burger in Boulder, CO.
Evelyn moved to North Platte in 1940 and attended school at St. Patrick’s Catholic School. She married Edward T. Lloyd and to this union, six children were born. She then married Frank Paro who died in 1982. Evelyn and her husband Donn Searle moved to Missouri and opened a convenience store which was open for 10 years. After Donn passed, she moved back to North Platte to be closer to family.
Evelyn enjoyed life to the fullest, and took pride in raising her family. She had a special interest in animals of all kinds.
Survivors include her children, Lynne (Cliff) Hills of North Platte, Edward “Tom” II (Jan) Lloyd of Montana, Mark (Iris) Lloyd of Wilbur, Ann (Rex) Hollman of Crete, Gena (Billy Joe) Stringham of North Platte; 14 grandchildren; sister, Barbara Telitz of North Platte; numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward T. Lloyd, Frank Paro, Donn Searle; and daughter, Mary A. Lloyd.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with Father Jonathan Sorensen officiating. Inurnment will follow at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
