Every
year since 1985, the Santa Cop program has helped less fortunate kids
in the North Platte and Lincoln County area, who may not have
otherwise received gifts for Christmas. The Santa Cop program relies
on generous donations and is a combined effort between the North
Platte Police Department, The Salvation Army, area businesses,
churches, and community organizations.
The North Platte Police Department would like to recognize and thank the Walmart Community Grant Foundation for their generous donation of $3,000. Donations such as this, are the life line for Santa Cop and will ensure the Santa Cop program continues providing gifts to children in the coming years. The Walmart Community Grant Foundation has been a generous donor for several years and we appreciate their generosity and continued support for our program.
