Bonnie M. (Crowley) Stoddard, 89, of North Platte, NE passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Premier Estates Assisted Living in North Platte surrounded by her loving family.

Bonnie was born on January 28, 1934 in Polo, Missouri the daughter of Floyd and Lillian (Holman) Crowley.  Bonnie grew up in Polo and graduated from Polo High School in 1951.  She was united in marriage to Charles A. Stoddard on April 8, 1951 in Kansas, and together they had two daughters.  In 1956, they moved to Hershey and later to Sutherland.  She worked as a clerk in K-Mart, the local grocery store in Hershey and telephone office in Hersey for several years.  She retired in 2008 after working in management for Days Inn across NE and IA.  Bonnie enjoyed attending races with her husband and listening to Gary Phipps and Rascal Martinez music.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and having them build things for her.   Bonnie enjoyed playing BINGO, sewing, shopping, and word search puzzles.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.  

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Kathy (Micheal) Thomlison of North Platte, Sheila (Eddie) Bradshaw of North Platte; six grandchildren, Jamie Thomlison, Jodi (Jason) Pflughaupt, Tina (John) Rosenberg, Gina Hatch, Jackie (Ryan) Schroeder, Felicia Clarke, and Delmer Hostetler; 20 great-grandchildren including Annette (Riley) Cochran; eleven great-great grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Stone of FL; two adopted cabbage patch kids, Chris and Mitzy Hayes; and other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years, Charles; parents in law, Clarence and Ida (Wilhite) Stoddard; brothers, Wayne, Keith, and Jack Crowley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Ned Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery near Maxwell.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17th with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
