North Platte Noon Rotary club announces 'Grocery Grab' contestants

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-Three lucky winners will get the chance to crash Gary's Superfoods in North Platte Noon Rotary's Grocery Grab.

The club is once again teaming up with Gary's Superfoods for the event, which serves as a fundraiser to support Rotary projects like Josh the Otter Water Safety Awareness Program, North Platte High School Food Pantry, Bloodhounds Blood Drive, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and Rotary Youth Exchange Program.

The club held a drawing at Another Round Sports Bar and Grill during their regular weekly meeting on Wednesday.

The first-place winner, Wendy Thompson, will have three minutes to fill her grocery cart. Additionally, the second-place winner, Christina Butterfield, will have two minutes to fill her cart, and the third-place winner, Lori McConnell, will have one minute to fill her cart.

The event will take place at 3:00 p.m. on June 11 at Gary's Super Foods East 4th St. location.
