The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, May 11, with several routine county business items alongside reports from emergency management officials and a presentation on employee health insurance renewal information.
Commissioners are scheduled to convene at 9 a.m. in the commissioners room at the Lincoln County Courthouse. The Lincoln County Board of Equalization will meet at 9:15 a.m.
During the commissioners meeting, board members are expected to consider claims and treasurer’s receipts, receive fee reports from the Lincoln County Sheriff, Clerk of District Court, County Clerk and Register of Deeds, and authorize the chair to sign three right-of-way agreements for Consolidated Companies.
The Board of Equalization agenda includes approval of minutes from the May 4 meeting, a public comment period, and consideration of certificates of correction and refund submitted by the county assessor.
At 9:30 a.m., commissioners will hear a quarterly report from Region 51 Emergency Management. Ten minutes later, the board will recognize winners of the Severe Weather Awareness poster contest.
Later in the morning, at 10:30 a.m., representatives from NACO Benefit Services are scheduled to present information regarding the Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance renewal.
The agenda also notes commissioners may enter closed session, if necessary, to discuss matters involving litigation strategy, real estate purchases, security personnel or devices, or job performance evaluations to prevent needless injury to a person’s reputation.
The meeting will conclude with concerns from elected officials and department heads, followed by commissioner committee reports.
The meeting will be streamed on the Lincoln County YouTube channel.
