The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is marking a major milestone in American history with a special uniform change this summer.
Staff members will be wearing a commemorative patch in honor of the United States’ 250th birthday, which will be celebrated this Fourth of July.
The limited-time patch pays tribute to America’s semiquincentennial and will replace the department’s standard patch during the summer months.
The sheriff’s office also shared a side-by-side look at both the original patch and the new commemorative design as part of the announcement.
