Though it flys under the radar, Swim and Dive is one of the oldest sports in America. It has names like Greg Louganis and Michael Phelps, two athletes who personify what competition can do for a sport.
Here in North Platte the Swim and Dive team struggled with things outside of their control; no people in the stands to cheer them on, a season that could be cancelled at any moment, and still they persisted, putting together a season to remember. Multiple personal bests (coming at the state tournament no less!), an individual state championship in Diving, and memories galore!
