Roger Lee Jensen, age 70 of Dunning, Nebraska passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Jennie M Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow, Nebraska.
Roger was born March 11, 1950 in Anselmo, Nebraska to Raymond Wallace and Lois (Glause) Jensen.
Roger attended school in Anselmo, Mullen, Hildreth, and Kearney, graduating from Kearney High School.
On January 2, 1968 Roger married LaDonna Meadow, and to this union a daughter Tami was born, LaDonna passed away October 13, 1999. On July 23, 2001 Roger married Vickey Coffman in Kearney, Nebraska. Roger and Vickey made their home in Dunning, and loved the sandhills area. Roger enjoyed fishing and visiting with his many friends.
Roger is survived by wife Vickey (Coffman) Jensen of Dunning, daughter Tami (Jim) Thompson of Kearney, granddaughter Kristen (John) Orlowski of Madison, grandson Geoff, two great grandchildren Elayna and Collin, and a sister Jennifer Nakazawa.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Wallace and Lois (Glause) Jensen, first wife LaDonna, a great-grandson John Thomas Orlowski IV, two brothers Raymond and Gary, and a sister Jeane.
Graveside service will be Saturday, October 24th at 3:30 pm at the Purdum Cemetery at Purdum, Nebraska with Pastor Mark Sievering officiating. Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements. An online guest book may be signed at www.govierbrothers.com
