North Platte Community College’s Student Life department will honor local veterans with a Veterans Day ceremony Wednesday.
The ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. in the fireplace area of the McDonald-Belton Building on the NPCC South Campus. It is open to the public. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Dr. Brian Obert, area dean of student life, will speak, and members of NPCC’s music department will sing the national anthem. Those students are Dylan Rogge, of Fairbury, and Christopher Terry, of Grant.
Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
