Robert William Lauer, 97, of Gothenburg, NE, passed away on August 9, 2023, at the Perkins County Hospital in Grant, surrounded by his family.

Services will be on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 11 am at St. John's Lutheran Church, south of Ogallala, with Pastor Albert Bader officiating. Interment with military honors will be conducted prior to the service at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell.
Visitation will be from 2-5 pm on Sunday at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home in Ogallala.
